“Loving it” Tunefruit Weekly Stock Music Playlist for September 1st

Tunefruit-The-Hotness

Good Morning, Tunefruit! I hope you’ve got your listening ears on because today we’ve got some super-duper high quality stock music tracks prepared expressly for your auditory pleasure. I know you can’t get enough of these delectable fresh picks, they’re like little music candies wrapped in awesome. I think this awesome stock music would go very well with your next totally awesome explainer video production.

Eater Of Storms – Daniel Knowler

Space may not have an atmosphere, but this track more than makes up for it with an atmosphere of its own. Or maybe you prefer to spend your time here on earth, meandering through the desolate Arizona desert. Whether you’re driving aimlessly through the mojave or floating through the cosmos, let this track be your guide to nowhere in particular; with ambling post-rock at your back and the wind (or lack of it) in your face, you can feel free to just let yourself go and drift away.

Quirky Piano – John Frank Wayre

Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of clowns, but kids just can’t seem to get enough of them. I know it’s because they’re skilled at slapstick and love throwing pies for reasons I’ll never understand (I mean who could waste a perfectly good pie?), but I just can’t trust a guy who wears shoes four sizes too big. What are you hiding in there clowns? No one has feet that size. Nevertheless, this ragtime track is perfect for those comedic moments and sure to keep your audience reeling in laughter.

Miracle Of Freedom – emanmusic

Is your motivational speech falling flat? Is your montage just not inspirational enough? Is your training video seriously lacking in the incentive department? If those run-of-the-mill contemporary motivational tracks just aren’t cutting it, step back in time with this wonder-pick straight outta the 80’s. Fog machine and neon purple lights not included.

Coloured Autumn – Anton G

It’s luxurious and smoky, like a night at a high-class night club. This is the sexiest track in town, ask any curator. There’s tracks, and then there’s Colored Autumn. I don’t always spotlight downtempo tracks, but when I do it’s this one by Anton G. Friends don’t let friends use sub-par stock music tracks. Listen responsibly.

30 Weight – Terry Blackwell

Meanwhile, in the mountains of Kentucky, moonshiners are distilling alcohol in radiators. Well, okay not anymore, since sometime after the Prohibition folks figured out that it’ll turn you blind. Or kill you. While these days you can run right down to the liquor store and pick up a jar of that good ole’ white lightning (and no, I don’t mean the movie with Burt Reynolds), it seems like with all this hoopla about swamp people and that dynasty of ducks (How does that work? Can ducks organize a monarchy?) it might be about time to step back to a simpler age where mountain men weren’t being followed around by a camera crew.

“Loving it” Tunefruit Weekly Stock Music Playlist for August 11th

Tunefruit-The-Hotness
Folks, here’s the latest batch of top-notch stock music tracks that we just had to highlight for your earholes this week! Looking for music for your explainer videos, production music for your agency projects? You have hit the mother lode…of stock music goodness.

Awake” – Seastock

You hear that? That’s the sound of summer nights spent kicking it with your first love on a California beach. Remember those days? This track certainly does, and it’s filled to the brim with youthful bliss and vintage styles. Best served with a tall glass of cherry coke and teenage daydreams.

Waltz Fantasy” – ilyatruhanov

A whimsical cello plays in an enchanted forest. Are those fairies flitting about, or just fireflies? Who knows, but this track’s jazz stylings would feel right at home in any of Grimm’s fantastic tales. Just watch out for the other creatures of the forest.

Clock Parts – David B.

This track brings to mind a child who wanders into a clockmaker’s shop, full of amazing trinkets and magical devices. The ticking machines begin to form rhythms and melodies, inspiring a sense of wonder and awe. Bring out your inner child by checking out this delightfully wistful track.

Snatch The Suitcase – Damnwell

Crack team of experts? Check. Sexy getaway car? Check. Suitcase full of money? We’re heading that way. The only thing missing now is some groovy background music to kick this plan into action, and this track is guaranteed to make you feel like one smooth criminal.

Sly Cat – Stern Muzik

Before we wrap this up, let’s go down the rabbit hole with this mischievous and playful track. We’ll join Alice on her way back to Wonderland, and just in time for tea. It’s perfect for moments that just get curiouser and curiouser…

“Loving it” Tunefruit Weekly Stock Music Playlist for July 20th

Tunefruit-The-Hotness2

It’s July, and you’re a little parched, but what will quench this thirst? Well buddy, Super Duper Amazing Stock Music Straight From The Cow (uh….well, really our amazing artists, but we were heading the whole milk-from-the-cow route) will do the job.

Check out our latest HOT tracks that we wanted to highlight this week:

Prost! Oktoberfest Drinking Music” – Matthew Reid

OK, it’s not October (Oktober?) yet, but that’s no reason to not enjoy a cold one and this spirited drinking-compliant polka.  As the title says, “Prost!” (that means “cheers” – a salutation intended to be accompanied by a beer.)  Bottoms up!

Rainbow After the Rain” – Evdokim

Ukulele tracks are all the rage these days.  Bonus points for handclaps.  This cute, bouncy and extremely cheery track brings not only all that, but some whistling as an added bonus.  Piles of smiles to brighten your day.

For Triumph or Tragedy” – vpedulla

You would think that “Triumph” and “Tragedy” would not represent the same piece of music, but in this case they absolutely do.  This epic and heroic orchestral track sounds a little like the olympics, as set in Middle Earth.

Pure Joy” – John Judd

If Katy Perry made a track for a kickstarter campaign it would probably sounds something like this.  It’s teen energy and youthful spunk combine with a positive uplifting spirit that would bring motivation to any presentation.

Crazy Train” – ikoliks

Best described as “Punk Rock Surf Music” – at least up until the unexpectedly “Wild West” sounding breakdown in the middle.  Perhaps this is what it would sound like if No Doubt and Green Day had a child that scored a Quentin Tarantino film.

In a nutshell, Tout builds sales apps for salespeople. And, it’s all layered on top of the foundation of the interwebs… email communication.

With the flip of an e-switch (we just came up with that!), you can have Tout reminding you when to email prospects, use macros instead of re-writing the same email over and over, see who is opening your email, and about a hundred other incredible useful email sales tools. Tout really wants to speed up the sales process for your organization.

That seems nifty to us.

Check out what their customers are saying about Tout by clicking on the video above. The videos are just shy of gushing…and really, can you blame them? More sales makes everyone happy, and Tout makes it easier to ring the “bell” more often. We’re thrilled they used Tunefruit to find the right music for these videos, too!

1. Get MovingEdouard Andre Reny

Wake up!  Get moving! Edouard Andre Reny demands it!  Dust off the Monday blues with this moombahton/dubstep infused stock music track.  Seriously, this track will even get your boring boss busting his groove thing in the middle of a dance circle.

2. The RunnerDavid Sestay

I imagine this would be the theme song of any intern as they frantically dash around the office grabbing coffee, printing copies, moving files.  There’s just enough energy in David Sestay’s acoustic stock music track to get you going in the morning.

3. The Coolest EverTOYINVENTION

The name of this track speaks for itself here.  TOYINVENTION has taken elements of funk and fused them together with elements of modern stock music electronica.  A little stutter here, a little glitch there, a little dubstep wobble for good measure.  This is the funk of the future right here.

4. MirrorsSparinksy

Speaking of unique sounds, Sparinksy has certainly found a unique vibe with Mirrors.  With a strong reggae influence, this track is scattered with pitch bends, 80s sound effects, saxophones, like a circus trip in a child’s nightmare.

5. Happy Corporate AdvertisingScore Studio

Back in the normalsphere is Score Studio’s peppy track whose steady sound will have your shoulders bouncing and your head nodding from start to finish.

6. When the Morning Sun Comes UpZander Sehkri

For you slow rollers who like to take their time getting up every morning, basking in every single moment of the early sun, this one’s for you.  Zander Sehkri has given us another beautiful acoustic track that you can’t help but just sit back and enjoy life while listening to it.  Who’s got the Mondays now?  Not you, buddy.  Not you.

7. Waves 2014theflightaway

And to end our playlist this week, I’ve got an excellent atmospheric electronic track from theflightaway for you.  Take this puppy for a spin on the highway at night and tell me you don’t feel like Ryan Gosling in Drive.

Tunefruit is Going Bananas: Searching for the Right Video Soundtrack

Tunefruit-Is-Going-Bananas
Finding the right soundtrack for your video can be painful. First, you have to go to Google and search for “royalty free music” or “music for video,” and then sift through the endless options of sites that pop up. Some are great, and some, not so much. Either way, you only want to know how to find the right piece of music for the right price. We get it. And because we play one on TV (a music licensing company, that is), we will show you how we handle searching for music on our website, www.tunefruit.com.

tf 1

Hey, hey, hey! Look at that … a big ol’ search button! Sweet. So, on Tunefruit, you have several choices for conducting a music search:

  • Type in a word (similar artist, time, feeling, place, thing, etc.) and hit “search”
  • Select a genre (style of music, for example, World, Electronic / Dance, Funk)
  • Inspect the Tunefruit Freshpicks for the “greatest hits” collection
  • Click on a popular tag

So, what’s the cool thing about our special search bar? We spend countless hours doing something we call Deep Tagging™ on each track. If you have no idea exactly what you’re looking for, but your video is about something like an enormous breakfast sandwich; just type in “bacon,” “breakfast” or “cup of joe.” You’ll get results that will actually work for your video. (Man, are we hungry. …)

Being specific with these searches is the key. Don’t just search for “action” when you want “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” And don’t just search for “pop” when you want “Katy Perry.” You’re a creative person, so be creative with your searches. The Tunefruit system is smart—like Siri smart. Try it; you’ll like it.

Once you choose your method of search, this screen will appear:

tf 2

This is the brass ring of Tunefruit’s simple search, folks. Now all you have to do is “mouse over” each track and a preview track immediately starts playing. Sweet! No need to click further unless you want to license or delve deeper into the track info. And this is what makes the process of searching for music a breeze!

Tunefruit Know The Hotness: Mouse-over Previews

Tunefruit-The-Hotness
tunefruit results screen shot

Every once in a while, it’s good to remind you, gentle reader, that we are really working like crazy at Tunefruit HQ to make your life a little easier when it comes to licensing music. Because, look…this process could totally suck a lot more. We’ve heard the horror stories, and likely, you’ve been partner to this carnage. Ugh. We. Are. SOOO. Sorry. Come here, it’s hugging time.

One of the things we still get comments about is our Mouse-over preview. By allowing you to quickly listen to up to 500 (yep) tracks on a singe page, you can cut down on the totally lame click-and-listen approach to auditioning. That’s a good thing, ya know? Of course, when the spirit does move you (and it probably happens a lot on our site) you can click into the track page to further explore specific songs.

As always, we appreciate your thoughtful and creative suggestions. Please let us know what sorts of functionality you look for on our site!
