It’s beginning to look a bit like autumn these days, and you know what that means: it’s almost time for my personal favorite holiday, Halloween! It’s a time when everything gets a little more creepy, and the full moon spells supernatural trouble for us mortals. Plus, and most importantly, there’s scores of halloween candy. So sit back with some cinnamon hot chocolate and a slice of pumpkin pie, and check out these spooky stock music tracks.
I don’t want to invite any uncanny comparisons here, but eat your heart out, Burton. It’s a track that’s full of halloween spirit, complete with creepy music box and scurrying strings. Just remember, it’s not a party without the Pumpkin King.
There’s one blustery evening in autumn when the wind howls and the trees moan, and all the ghoulish guys and ghostly gals meet for their annual halloween ball. The elegant undead dancers glide under the pale moon, and the skeletons rattle their bones. Don’t mind the zombies; they’ll just shuffle around, but they do their best. Won’t you join them on this frightful night?
It’s getting spooky around here, and all the ghouls and goblins are coming out to play, causing all kinds of mischief and mayhem. Sure, those puckish little gremlins are entertaining at first, but pretty soon they’ll be wrecking the whole neighborhood. In the meantime, this aptly-named track makes a great backdrop for all your halloween misadventures.
Under the red moon a dark rider on a pale horse rises from the fires of hell, standing ready with an army of undead. Alright, so I’m being a bit dramatic, but what’s halloween without a little brash embellishment? This track certainly calls to mind a sense of dread and doom, perfect for your over the top bad guys.
It’s like CSI: Halloween edition, perfect for investigating all sorts of ghostly hauntings and strange supernatural occurrences. Things that go bump in the night better beware, because we won’t rest until these mysteries are put to bed. Well, not me anyways; I’ll hang back here and “supervise” while you guys check out that haunted house. I’m not scared or anything, I’m just allergic to cobwebs, dust, and terrifying monsters. You got this.
Bring halloween into the future with this banging drum and bass track, perfect for fighting cartoon zombies and animated ghouls alike. Whether you’re a time-traveling duo fighting space vampires on the moon, or a crypt-diver facing down a reawakened mummy in retro-futuristic New York (why not?), this track will keep your blood racing and guns blazing long enough to outlast any post-apocalyptic nightmares. What time is it? Zombie killin’ time.
On edge yet? Well I am, and let me tell you this track isn’t calming my nerves at all. It’s eerie, discordant, and just plain unsettling. It evokes a sense of confusion and bewilderment, and as the piano drifts and clangs around, you really get the feeling that something isn’t right here. Is that little girl in the corner supposed to be here? Who’s blood is that wall covered in? My invitation says dinner party, but I’m pretty sure this is a haunted house. I did not sign up for this.
