In a nutshell, Tout builds sales apps for salespeople. And, it’s all layered on top of the foundation of the interwebs… email communication.

With the flip of an e-switch (we just came up with that!), you can have Tout reminding you when to email prospects, use macros instead of re-writing the same email over and over, see who is opening your email, and about a hundred other incredible useful email sales tools. Tout really wants to speed up the sales process for your organization.

That seems nifty to us.

Check out what their customers are saying about Tout by clicking on the video above. The videos are just shy of gushing…and really, can you blame them? More sales makes everyone happy, and Tout makes it easier to ring the “bell” more often. We’re thrilled they used Tunefruit to find the right music for these videos, too!

“Loving it” Weekly March 16th Playlist with Guava, Tunefruit’s Stock Music Specialist

Tunefruit-The-Hotness

I know you all have been waiting for it! Here’s this week’s taste of some fresh new music coming into our library that I just absolutely love!

Listen Now: “Loving it” Stock Music Playlist Week 32

  1. “The Canyon” – T_mber Music Supply

Saddle-up people! But don’t get too carried away cause unless I’m riding Toy Story’s Bullseye, we won’t be traveling far. However, no reason to not use your imagination on this Morricone-sounding Western stock music track!

  1. “Slow Motion” – Anton G

Here’s an ambient, trip hop stock music track for all your late night sessions. Take a second and put your life into slowmo and let the city lights pass you by after all the traffic finally dies down.

  1. “Heroes of the Sea” – PaulWernerMusic

I know everyone thinks my swashbuckling days are over but my how you will be disappointed! Luckily, I have saved both my eyepatch and my buccaneer shirt just for this occasion. I’m going to be doing the moonwalk off the gangplank to this cinematic stock music track.

  1. “Lively Acoustic Rock” – Seastock

I feel that if I just keep saying Spring is around the corner in the next few playlists I’ll finally get it right. Luckily, if you are still feeling the bitter chill of Winter, you can check out this upbeat, acoustic stock music track featuring acoustic guitars, ukuleles and some good ol’ drums.

  1. “Beautiful” – Jonathan Wright

There’s nothing like a touching piano and orchestra to bring a tear to my otherwise tear ductless eyeballs. So if this track can do that to my incredibly dry eyes, believe me, it can do it to yours.

  1. “Hotel Parador” – Fabrice-Ravel Chapuis

Fabrice-Ravel is going to take you back to the 60’s with this lounge stock music track. We’re going all the way to when you ordered a Vodka Fizz, in your all-white outfit; enjoyed the breeze coming in through the country club doors.

  1. “Rumble Seat” – quilter

Fear not! Rock is not dead! Not that I think anybody was actually saying that, but this alternative rock stock music track is bringing back my rowdy and wild college years from the dead.

  1. “Retro” – Michikawa

Speaking of things from the past, Michikawa is taking us back to the 90’s with this electronic, pop-like stock music track. Dig through your closet to try on some scrunchies, awkward post-80’s neon t-shirt and jeans before you begin your day.

  1. “Cruising” – UniqueSound

I’m going to get a pair of rollerblades, super high shorts (no shirt, duh) and cruise the boardwalks of California’s Pacific Beach. Trust me, pop some headphones on with this more upbeat, lounge stock track and you’ll know what I mean.

  1. “Groovy Nights” – Abbas Premjee

Time to cap this playlist off, but before I leave you all, we at least have to have one dance party. So go on and get down with your bad self to this upbeat discofunk stock music track!

bite
This latest featured stock music license gives this fruit (Mango) an opportunity to make plenty of fruit jokes (our featured license is BITE Beauty), but….no. I’m not doing it. I will not bite.

Dang.

Ok, so a little bit about BITE Beauty. Bite Beauty is a natural lip care company operating out of downtown Toronto. Their mission is to create lipstick that is high performance and healthy enough to eat for women everywhere.

As they say on the site…

“This is where we keep our inspirations – things we see, things we hear, things we wear. We’ll share what we can and teach what we know.”

This video is a sweet little wrap of what happens behind the scenes at a BITE Beauty shoot. As you would expect, it looks pretty much like a photo shoot for Tunefruit…eh…not really.

Tunefruit-The-Hotness

I know you all have been waiting for it! Here’s this week’s taste of some fresh new music coming into our library that I just absolutely love!

Listen Now: “Loving it” Stock Music Playlist Week 31

  1. “French Kiss” – Anton G

Clubs, clubs, clubs, clubs! I’m not French but I will take on any French kisses coming my way. I’m shameless. You know what is shameless? The combination of my dance moves at the club playing this fun, electronic stock music track.

  1. “Fairytales Of Tomorrow” – Eugen Kid

Eventually we will be telling our kids fairtales that have nothing to do with forests, but instead we will be explaining how the hero rescued the princess from the computer virus, ran away on a terabyte and lived happily ever after in a mainframe. Trust me.

  1. “Spectres” – aaronsaloman

We’re going deep into the psyche with this ethereal stock music track. If you are a fan of The Social Network’s soundtrack by Trent Reznor, you will definitely enjoy this piece, so grab some nice, giant headphones and take a listen.

  1. “Dreams of a Sorcerer” – Matthew Prins

These are the only types of dreams I’ve been having all year! Those dreams could be in direct correlation with the wand and cape I purchased for my new wardrobe changeover. I’ll be playing this magical stock track as I cast my spells on everyone at the grocery store.

  1. “Riding The Night Bus” – Mellowstu

I’ve often said that sometimes titles perfectly capture the song’s mood. Here’s a great example. Being a fruit, I avoid busy, jammed buses, so taking the night ride is perfect. I can look up at the skyscrapers and drift away with this laid back stock track.

  1. “Enchanted Melody” – VIMINOD

This slow, enchanting waltz stock music track has a real haunting feel. This sets the mood to a ballroom event where something is just not quite right with the gentleman in the corner…

  1. “Sweet Toy” – ikoliks

Grab your ride and take off on the open road. We’ve got a big, adventurous rock stock music track, and you’ve got to just let go when listening to it. Big drums, electric guitars and a special rhodes keyboard set you free.

  1. “A Sunny Life” – perepilka

Oh man, Spring is right around the corner and when listening to this positive, acoustic stock music track featuring a string ensemble, I can almost smell the allergies hitting my nose.

  1. “Wood Will” – Joachim

Wood will what?? You’re leaving me hanging here. But you know what, I’m grateful for this bouncy, happy stock music track because this reminds me of all the great and wonderful things in my life.

  1. “African Grassland” – Sunghee Moon

Ok first off, you win coolest artist name, possibly even your real name?? Second, I’m totally digging this African stock music track. As a fruit, I can’t fly international but I can dream of the African fields and jungle with this track!

“Loving it” Weekly March 2nd Playlist with Guava, Tunefruit’s Stock Music Specialist

Tunefruit-The-Hotness

I know you all have been waiting for it! Here’s this week’s taste of some fresh new music coming into our library that I just absolutely love!

Listen Now: “Loving it” Stock Music Playlist Week 30

  1. “Frisky Fun” – BrownHouseCreative

Just as the title suggests, there is an air of upbeat, positive energy. This modern latin stock music track has me all pumped up to kick my day off with a little bit of zest and spice.

  1. “The Winter Pass” – Pete Hawkey

If you have been stuck up in the northern blizzard that has been going on for the past few weeks this track is for you. Don your most relatable Eskimo gear and brave the cold with this passionate and determined classical track.

  1. “The Middle Way” – vpedulla

Imagine a slow motion panoramic shot of a serene hotel top spa, which overlooks the ocean. Then the shot slowly zooms in on me, sipping a tiny cocktail, with a tiny umbrella. Yes, I know, even a guava berry can be as cool as George Clooney with this hip, ambient stock track.

  1. “Dancing Condor” – SGA

There are always great instrument combos out there but some take you by surprise. Here we’ve got a few Andean instruments, the likes of flutes and lutes but combined with a fun, upbeat Moog keyboard. Feels like you’re as high as a condor!

  1. “One Million Kites” – Jonathan Wright

There truly is a sense of amazement for a child when he or she first lets a kite fly. There you are holding as tight as you possibly can, praying the wind doesn’t take you or your kite away. This classical stock music track nails that sense of joy and freedom.

  1. “Cowboy Lament” – jfbenning

You know what I’ve wanted to do more than be a cowboy? Sit around a campfire and just reminisce on my past cowboy days with all my cow buds. I’d say things like, “remember ol’ Tommy Six-Shooter?” Then we’d all get kicked out of the mart’s parking lot for making a fire.

  1. “Condemned to Happiness” – Skindiver

Fine! I’ll go! Condemn me to this happiness if you must. I definitely won’t take much convincing to hop on this mainframe of joy and listen to this electronic stock music track.

  1. “Retro Groovy Organ” – runfirestop

Am I disqualified from writing blogs if I mention George Clooney twice in one “Loving It”? I dare say I would have to disagree. One just can’t over mention the man. Anywho, I’m digging this grooving stock track as it takes me back to Ocean’s 11.

  1. “The Monstrosity” – little pioneer

Immediately groovetastic. Looking to cruise the mean streets of NYC with your crew? Up to no good like a youthful hooligan? This jazzy, hip hop stock music track is the perfect ticket for your afternoon shenanigans.

  1. “Golden Horizon” – GoldenEar

I’m going to leave you guys with this inspiring string ensemble. Feel the building sensation that you can capture your dreams and glory! People had said “you’re no fruit.” But look at me now! Wikipedia even acknowledges my triumph!

Tunefruit Tech and Music Mashup: Vinyl is Back!

Tunefruit-Tech-Talk

Snap.  Crackle.  Pop.  No, I am not talking about eating a bowl of Rice Krispies.   That is the familiar, or not so familiar sound (depending on your age) of playing a vinyl record.  To the surprise of many, vinyl is back.  In 2013, there were 6.1 million vinyl records sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That is a 33 percent increase in sales from 2012.  For comparison, in 1993 there were less than 1 million records sold.  The surge is attributed to the fact that some buyers now want a tangible product.  Something that they can touch and feel.

There is also the sound quality.  Since MP3s are compressed, certain frequencies are left out.  This can leave the listener with a less than ideal listening experience, even if they don’t know it.  I would agree that vinyl has an undeniable warmth to it that has yet to be re-created digitally.  Back in the 90s, producers of R&B Neo-Soul tracks would add a “static” track to their productions, with the crackling, to give it that dusty groove feel.  It gave the song some character.

I also wonder if there is a psychological component to it.  You actually have to sit down and listen to a record, as opposed to being on the train, going for a jog or just plain multitasking.  Perhaps our concentration is more focused in that regard, allowing us to perceive the music as “sounding better”.

With vinyl coming back into the retail space, will we also see this resurgence in other areas?  I wonder if DJs would ever go back to carrying crates of records?  These days, all you need is your MacBook Pro, Serato software and controller, an MP3 playlist and you are on your way to playing your next party.  Trust me, that setup is much easier on the lower back.  This resurgence overall is definitely a surprising development, since we have been told for so long by several entities and authorities on the matter that vinyl was absolutely dead and it would never come back.  Oh, how things change.
