Tunefruit 2014: A Year in Review

The new year is almost upon us! As Tunefruit looks forward to the bright and shining promise of 2015, we would also like to look back on all of the wonderful milestones you helped us reach this year. Tunefruit is growing by leaps and bounds, but none of that growth would be possible without you, our Tunefruit family.

Tons of awesome work!

This year, Tunefruit was fortunate enough to work with so many awesome companies that allowed us to help them showcase their amazing products and services. It also goes without saying how cool it was to get to team with some of these awesome production companies and agencies to help support the stellar creative worth they’re doing. Thanks, guys!

Customer Accounts

In 2014, Tunefruit rolled out our customer accounts (beta) feature that makes it super simple to manage ongoing projects of any size. If you just read this and said to yourself, “Oh my! That sounds wonderful!” Then don’t delay! Tunefruit has only a limited number of remaining customer accounts (beta), so get yours while they’re still available…Just kidding! There’s no hurry, but if fast and easy project management sounds like something you might be interested in-let us know!

Guava’s “Loving It” weekly playlists

If you guys haven’t had a chance to check this out yet, then make sure to check the blog each week for the next one. Guava is one of our content specialists, and his weekly playlists highlight some of Tunefruit’s freshest and funkiest jams by some of our most talented artists. Also, his hilarious descriptions of some of these killer tracks are sure to make you laugh so hard, you fall onto the floor, and lay there unable to get up (or maybe that’s just me because I’m round and have tiny arms and legs).

So Much Good Music

I couldn’t do a 2014 wrap-up without thanking the people who really make Tunefruit possible; our artists. What would we do without you? We certainly couldn’t stock this site with music of our own creation. You don’t want to hear the demo I just made with Guava- every time we listen to it, we thank the music gods we get to work with talented musicians like you, so thank you for your continued hard work.

And finally, no new years post would be complete without some resolutions, so here’s what we at Tunefruit resolve to do in 2015:

Mango: Stop sending fruit-themed puns to our customers…JUST KIDDING!

Big Banana: Use my superhero powers only for good

Guava: Grow a beard

Peach: Leave it all on the dance floor

And with that, we here at Tunefruit would like to wish you all a happy, healthy new year! Have fun, be safe, and we look forward to working with you in 2015. After all, we do make a great pair.

children's Omaha

The story told at this year’s Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Foundation gala was of Katelyn Larsen, who had a life-saving heart transplant at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. Katelyn’s family lived more than 60 miles from Omaha and was able to stay at the current Rainbow House during her treatment, recovery and follow-up visits.

Children’s is in the process of finishing the NEW Carol Scott Rainbow House.

As told to us by Malone & Co.:

“Obviously we needed lots of emotion with when it came to the music for this video. We knew needed to portray the deep emotion of Katelyn’s mom and doctor and then transported the viewers to the hopeful, warm and much-needed support the Rainbow house provides. With Tunefruit’s Project Center, we were able to pull a variety of pieces in and select, try them in our edit and find the perfect match.”

Listen Now: “Loving it” Stock Music Playlist Week 20

  1. “Desert Wave” – Marc Beasley

Great title. Makes me want to take to the highways listening to this lovely and laid back stock track. I really dig the indie vibe going on with the combo of guitar and piano drifting along.

  1. “Happy Hour” – Peter M.

You can hear this type of track often, so when you write this type of track, it has to be GOOD. With that said, you have done a wonderful job with this lovely, cheerful children’s stock track.

  1. “Into the Atmosphere” – stevecollom

Like I’ve said before, I’m always a sucker for slow, emotional piano tracks, and this one even builds up to a climactic finish! Beautiful! It’d be great if I could just wake up to this every day.

  1. “La Belle Aventure” – Vlad Els

Speaking of being a sucker for certain tracks – I also love grand, sweeping orchestral pieces. My faves are the ones where I feel like I’m not just a fruit but a hero! A heroic fruit! YES.

  1. “Clean Business“ – muscosound

Here’s a title that really captures the track. If I was thinking to myself, hmm I want a clean trip down my computer’s circuit board (never said that before) this would be the background song.

  1. “Dont Give Up” – AGsoundtrax

Well isn’t this just a peaceful and loving stock music track! If you are sitting fireside with a loved one, you got to put this track on and just sit back and relax. Thank you, AGsoundtrax.

  1. “Sign My Yearbook” – T_mber Music Supply

Sign this yearbook STAT. What have you been doing all day besides signing yearbooks? Nothing. If signing means more awesome, feel good music, we need more signatures.

  1. “Aquatic Flow” – jluecke

Woah. I’m really digging this soothing stock track. The guitar harmonies building into an emotional, nostalgic rhythm is hitting all the right notes. Time for me to just relax to this sound.

  1. “Positive Acoustic Country” – ilyatruhanov

This is such a wonderful track. I’m loving the mixture of acoustic strumming, intertwined guitars and country feel. Perfect track for cruising the country roads, with the windows down.

10. “Double Trap” – dreikelvin

AH YEAH. Here’s a hip stock music track that really captures today’s mixture of electronic and hip hop. If you’re in the mood to find what all those crazy kids are listening to, check this out.

  1. “Chicago 4AM” – Global Island Music

I haven’t had the chance to drive around Chicago at 4am, but with this track, I can imagine the skyscrapers over head. This is a great stock track to take you alone, deep into the cityscape.

  1. “Lake Michigan” – Matthew Prins

Here’s another track where I feel like I am soaring over Lake Michigan in a dream. The solo piano track is a lovely introspective piece that can really make you think. Thanks Mr. Prins!

  1. “Tiki Trake” – Porrazzo

Woah. Here is a very unique stock music track! We don’t have too much a capella, so this track is a super neat, quirky vocal track featuring a wacky blend of male harmonies!

  1. “Deep In The Jungle” – Jagenkreunch

My native heritage is calling! (after all, a guava fruit from the tropical regions) Hark, I will come deep into the jungle and battle for the rights of fertile soil! All hail King Guava of the Jungle!

  1. “My Rainbows are Melting” – Plaything

Briefly, I pictured one of those canvases with all the crayons up top and someone has melted them. Let’s go deeper. Here’s a chilled, DJ Shadowisque, reminder of old school trip hop.

  1. “Dark Shadows” – TOYINVENTION

Strap yourself into you movie theater seat cause you’re about to go on a super wild ride into the demon caves! This stock music track is an great hybrid, orchestral horror ride into hell!

  1. “Euphoria Dubstep” – Max Power

Uh oh, here comes some dubstep stock music! (what’re those darn kids listening to now??) This track does a great job bridging the gap between business corporate and the youth.

  1. “Mindfields” – Erdin

With those strings and the deep percussion, this track is subty more epic than one would think! Plus, there’s a great modern element, the synthesizer layered over the top at times!

  1. “Sweet Seventies Lovin” – Mellowstu

Do you guys smell love in the air? That sweet, musty smell of love? Well that’s my 70’s leisure suit that I just pulled out of the closet. Gross. But, I’m only wearing it to celebrate this track!

10.  “Empowered Indie” – vpedulla

But if we give power to those indie kids they will all make us wear skinny jeans!!!…Well, maybe that’s not really what this means but love this indie track’s power and confidence.

  1. “Danza” – Vivian Giovani

Don’t mistake this track for Tony Danza!…ok, terrible joke. However, these Spanish guitars do quite the lovely job of letting me drift away to a nice restaurant on the coast, sipping wine.

YESSSS. Let’s get our white blazers out and cruise the streets in our convertibles! Love the cheesy, yet epic, synthesizer on this eighties stock music track! Rock on!
