Tunefruit is Going Bananas: The Palette Project (Michael Schwartz)

Tunefruit-Is-Going-Bananas

Michael Schwartz is a video producer, documentary filmmaker, and former reporter. But beyond that, he is also suffering from a degenerative retinal disease called proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR).

What does that mean? For Michael, it means dealing with failing eyesight, and eventual blindness. As you can imagine, this has quite the impact on his profession. How do continue to be a visual storyteller when your eyes no longer function?

Michael is now working on a new documentary, The Palette Project, and is looking for support through his Kickstarter campaign, here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/600620645/the-palette-project-losing-my-sight-but-seeing-the

For this project, he will be traveling all across the world, and will be going to great lengths to show that folks with challenges like his own can still overcome significant hurdles to follow their dreams.

Consider supporting this valiant effort via the Kickstarter page he’s set up below!

I love “Beverly Hills Cop.” Honestly, I could watch Eddie Murphy drive around in that red convertible cracking jokes all day and I would bet you he’d be listening to this stock music track!

  1. “My Best Red Scarf” – T_mber Music Supply

What if I lost my best red scarf? Can I still come to this really nice sounding outdoor experience? I can still dress appropriately but don’t want to miss out on this warm celebration.

  1. “Drifting” – jesse shobbrook

All I want to do now is relax on a cloud. No, not Cloud 9. Cloud 10 – VIP Pass only. But seriously, this just brings out a warm elegance in all of us! Love the classical soundtrack!

  1. “Win a Prize” – ST Music

Do I win an awesome day? I’m having one now after listening to this stock track, so I’ll take that as a yes. Great modern, ambient electronic sound that will bring joy to the ears!

  1. “Corporate Thursday” – OnBothSides

I might just be on a peaceful kick with these last few tracks. Definitely digging “Corporate Thursday.” There’s just a nice, laid back layering of sounds. When’s “Corporate Friday”?

  1. “Wormhole” – jpsheg

Take me to this wormhole. I’m down for whatever may happen as long as I can listen to this track the ENTIRE TIME. Super catchy, retro synth track to soothe your stock music need.

This is a lovely track. Yes, sweet and simple is often all it takes with stock music and pulling off a sound to bring back loving memories is key! Thank you Sound Spindle.

  1. “Vivid Prospect” – Pixelee

Woah. This one sorta gave me chills. There is something about a nice, warm piano laying down a beautiful melody; then followed by a chorus of kids that will always get me.

I’m just like the mall! As soon as Halloween is over, I am going to throw up some awesome Christmas celebration! So check out this bluegrass stock track covering “Deck the Halls”!

Tunefruit Featured Stock Music License: Trout Unlimited (prod. by Sage Lion Media)

Tunefruit-Featured-License BIG

sage-lion-logo-final

Our newest Featured Stock Music License comes from the fine folks over at Sage Lion Media. They produced this awesome video for Trout Unlimited.

Trout Unlimited was looking for a video that highlighted the unique characteristics of this amazing place in Colorado called Browns Canyon. There has been legislation about designating it a National Monument for decades but nothing has ever come of it. Sage Lion Media was looking to increase public awareness that this place is being threatened and the time to act is now.

Browns Canyon, located along the upper Arkansas River in Colorado, is known for premier trout fishing, outstanding big game habitat, world-famous whitewater, rugged and remote wildlands, and a proud cattle ranching tradition. This diversity supports thousands of jobs, from river outfitters and guides to ranchers in the nearby communities of Salida and Buena Vista. Protecting this 22,000 acre gem along the Arkansas River as a National Monument is a community-driven effort to preserve this unique natural and economic resource for generations to come.

If you’re looking for more info on Trout Unlimited, head over here: http://www.sportsmenforbrowns.com/

I know you all have been waiting for it! Here’s this week’s taste of some fresh new stock music coming into our library that I (Guava) just absolutely love!

Listen Now: “Loving it” Stock Music Playlist Week 15

  1. “Champa” – Manic

This is just a wonderful piece from start to finish. I could sit on a nostalgic, grey day and just think on great memories. If you’re looking for that thoughtful stock track, Manic has it on lock.

  1. “Lotus Lantern” – Scoreweaver

Scoreweaver is taking you straight into Asia with this stock music blend of Asian elements and modern hip hop beat. I’ve been waiting to get my samaurai on so I thank you for this.

  1. “All Change” – Jon Chan

A simple, classical piano is not necessarily new. So when choosing this route, you need to execute with beauty, grace and capture emotion. Mr. Chan nails a nostalgic, wistful mood.

  1. “Blue Sky Day” – MarcBeasley

“Blue Sky Day” – Great title. I’m going to just go ahead and assume you are talking about this perfect, fall day I am experiencing. I can just relax to this retro, indie rock track all day.

  1. “Happy Inspiration” – jkcomposer

Well, again, title pretty much says it all in this case. I mean, how can you not just picture a small startup working diligently or a bunch of children enjoying an organic snack time?

  1. “They Have Come For The Feathers” – Daniel Knowler

Just give them the feathers! Who has them and why are they holding onto them!? Great post-rock, psychedelic track Mr. Knowler. There’s something eerie and dark creeping up.

  1. “The Walk” – Sparinsky

Get ready to bust out your finest attire ladies and gents. Sparinsky will be holding it down all night on the baritone sax, swooning you away to this bossa nova stock music track.

  1. “I Ran Away” – PT Lavish

A tough genre call on this track. Maybe I’m hearing a slow pop ballad lead by the piano? Or maybe I’m hearing an old hip hop track with Notorious dropping a rhyme? Either way, great.

  1. “On Sure Ground” – Suzanne Schnite

Ok, this is one enchanting stock music track right here. It’s like I am traveling through the hardware of some old 90’s mainframe; grooving through a rhythmic synthesizer. Dunno but yep.

10.“Heroic Epic Orchestral” – Pelican Music

Did you write this track for me? Cause I have daydreams at work about how pumped I would be as a superhero. All I am saying is get me in an epic movie with this track playing!

  1. “Inspiring” – Twisterium

When I wake up and don’t even need my cup of coffee to smile, you know I’m in a killer mood. So with that said, what in the world is better than waking up to my cup o’ joe? “Inspring.”

  1. “Epic Jungle Trailer” – GuidoNegraszus

I ran through a jungle one time (true story). I did not have this stock track playing Mr. Negraszus. WHERE WAS IT WHEN I NEEDED IT TO FEEL SO COOL?! This is epic.

  1. “Expressive Piano Build” – Seastock

I’m often a sucker for these slow, arpeggiated piano builds. Just get yourself into the zone and imagine you’re running slow motion, high fiving your coworkers with this stock track playing.

  1. “Creeping Through the Clouds” – Playthings

I love weird, out of the blue music. Playthings, you’ve done a great job with this really nice, retro blend of Super Nintendo waltz. So keep on keeping on with your stock tracks.

  1. “Turn Around” – Kubed

Get those hands up. Put those hands in the air PAAAAARRRRRRTTTTYYY PEOPLE! Liking the young, contemporary EDM vibe, Kubed. This is some fun stock music right here!

  1. “Forward Reversal” – SongMonster

Ok, when I first read the title I was secretly hoping for some trippy, reverse guitar effects. SongMonster, I must thank you. Great track that really grabs your attention and mesmerizes.

  1. “Drive and Smile” – Zander Sehkri

Drive and smile? Well I’ll just say of course I can with this track playing in my car. In fact, I’m heading up to the mountains this weekend and find this a perfect stock track for nature drives.

  1. “Tribal Incantation” – sleight

Sit back, relax and take your mind back to that inner tribal self. This is a great music track that just let’s you explore the jungle tribes of the past and enter a peaceful melody for meditation.

  1. “Red Skies” – Abbas Premjee

I really enjoy this track. With Middle Eastern flair, there are subtle hints of emotions rising underneath but never coming to realization, and even a sense of mystery and wonder escape.

  1. “Faint of Heart” – dton3z

dton3z has a great point. This hybrid EDM/hip hop stock music track is NOT for the faint of heart. Buckle up, hold on, brace yourself, do whatcha gotta do cause BEAT’S GONNA DROP.

Tunefruit’s Guide to Halloween Stock Music! Spooky!

Tunefruit-Daily-Freshpicks

halloweenscary

Many people know Halloween as the yearly festival where small children impersonate sociopaths in order to scam candy from their neighbors (jk…ok, not jk), but did you know that Halloween also has a rich musical history as well? That’s right, music is as big a part of the holiday as candy, paganism or psychopathy!

Now that we’ve established how important music is to Halloween, lets get into the different types of Halloween music…

Whether you’re licensing music for your Halloween-themed videos, or just trying to get into the holiday spirit, it’s crucial that you understand the differences between the three main types of Halloween tracks.

Halloween Track Type I: Kooky and Spoooooky

This variety of Halloween music is fun and quirky- it’s full of playful energy with just a hint of scary. This is the kind of track you might play while you and your kids are decorating the house before the trick or treaters arrive, or while putting together their costumes for the big night.

Scare-o-meter: 1-3

Check out some Kooky and Spoooooky tracks on Tunefruit here or here.

Or check out our favorite vintage Kooky and Spoooooky track, The Monster Mash.

Halloween Track Type II: Magical Wizarding World

This type of track grabs you by the hand, and takes you right into the dark underground tunnels and faraway castle laboratories where you might find Halloween characters like ancient ghosts, terrible monsters, or even Wayne Brady! These Halloween tracks are just a bit more serious and imposing than your Kooky and Spooky tracks. They’re full of magic and wonder, with just a hint of menace.

Check out some Magical Wizarding world-type tracks on Tunefruit here or here.

Or check out a perfect example of a Magical Wizarding World-type track from the greatest movie of all time, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!

Scare-o-meter: 4-6

Halloween Track Type III: The Terror is Real!

With this final selection of tracks, we are not playing around anymore: these tracks are 100% pure horror! “Oh my god! We’re trapped and there’s no way out!”…is what you might say if you were a character in a truly scary horror film, or if you were forced to watch an entire season of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Either way, this type of Halloween track is sure to make you scream.

Check out some ultra-creepy Halloween tracks on Tunefruit like this one or even this one. But if you really want to see something scary, then check this one out….who thought these haircuts were a good idea?

Scare-o-meter: 7-10

So this Halloween, if you’d like to indulge in some ghoulish holiday tunes, be our guest! But remember, if you feel your heart racing, you’re not actually being chased by a knife-wielding maniac in a hockey mask and an awful cotton-poly blend. You’re just listening to some frighteningly realistic Halloween tracks. Enjoy!

Now, we (because we are fruits here at Tunefruit, and don’t have ears) had never heard of the blue line, but oh boy, we know that it exists.

How easy do you make it for your customers to crossover from looky-loos to bonafide buying customers? Are you leaving barriers, obstacles, and unanswered questions littered across your e-commerce site? Probably.
