The new Explainify-produced DialedIN video is, as to be expected from the folks at Explainify, pretty sweet. DialedIN is a like a Powerpoint presentation, but not. It’s interactive HTML sales presentations and emails that sit in the cloud (hope it’s a big cloud). Want a slightly deeper dive into their offering? Totes you do (totes not sure if we used “totes” correctly, but our intern will surely check it out). Click here.
As always, you should totally be following these dudes on twitter:
Intern blog post…watch out!:
Huckleberry hails from Connecticut. After a short stint of walking the streets of NYC at 4 a.m. (with a tuba), he finally had enough dough for a bus ticket to Atlanta where he graciously accepted the job of “overworked, underpaid intern.” After all, what’s a berry gonna do with money?
Hey guys, before we get started I have something I need to get off my chest… My name is Huckleberry, and I’m a Crossfitter. Yes, I am a member of that weird cultish gym that has strange acronyms for things that don’t need acronyms. We alienate people by telling literally everyone we see that we are more hardcore than they are. You may have seen someone wearing a T-shirt saying “My warm-up is your workout.” Or my personal favorite:
(Crossfit Salem. We will kill you)
This morning (read: 5 AM) I was officiating a team’s workout in preparation for the Crossfit Games Open. The whole point of it was to do as many reps as possible in a certain amount of time. This guy I’m watching starts out wicked (I’m from the northeast, deal with it) fast and then falls quickly to a snails pace and it’s killing me. He is much stronger and faster than I am, but I could keep up with him. I’m screaming at him to fix his form and to think.
Suddenly…his pace doubles.
He was working twice as hard, using twice the energy he needed to. You can’t solve your problems by brute force! You still have to do things right!
YOU. HAVE. TO. BE. EFFICIENT.
At Tunefruit, we pride ourselves in doing things right (and efficiently). We care about you guys and don’t want you to waste your time searching for killer tracks. That’s why we curate our catalog and why we created our Deep Tagging™ system. You search in Google and get 10 million hits but only look at the first two pages of results. We give you the equivalent of the first three pages – just in case.
And, while Google doesn’t curate results, we do. Every track that is considered for inclusion into Tunefruit’s catalog goes through a process of two human ears listening, tagging, describing, genre-picking, and sometimes being deleted. So, when you jump on our site, with it’s track mouse-over ability, and do a search for Batman, all you find is awesome, totally relevant, not-at-all-sucky stock music.
CrossFit and Tunefruit, more similar than you would think. Right?
So apparently, dealing with paperwork can get crazy. REALLY CRAZY. I mean…did you catch the end of that video? What happened to that chick once the filing cabinet went berserk?
BambooHR has licensed a scary halloween stock music track from us for their latest campaign to help stop paperwork from getting out of hand, and man, they really used it to greeeeeaaaaaat effect. When the filing cabinet pops open, I almost peed a little bit.
Just being honest.
The latest video from Blueline Connect (developed by Bratton Technologies), produced by The Buzz Lab, outlines a new professional social network for Law Enforcement. Which is totally cool. The basic notion is that this platform will allow different police departments across the land to share information and communicate with each other.

Check out the latest video from our friends at SmartPak. They’re definitely not horsin’ (you knew that was coming) around about getting your horses the right type and amount of supplements.

What to say, what to say. Masters of Anatomy decided to put together a Kickstarter campaign to fund a giant book of how to draw comic book characters. We (and apparently everyone else, since the project got funded in crazy fast time) are floored by the quality, breadth, blah blah blah of their work.
“Master of Anatomy: The Ideal Male and Female, is a one-of-a-kind collection of artistic anatomy bringing together the work of 64 artists from different industries. Each artist recreates the Ideal Male and Female illustrated in their own signature style and without the aid of external reference. Each angle is neutral, symetrical and unposed showing the front, side and 3/4 front angles in a classic animation turn-around. The goal: to translate a decades-old sketch into something more relevant to a modern aesthetic. The result is a volume unlike anything that exists today. A must have for any aspiring artist; digital or traditional.”
Well, this is pretty freaking cool. To boil it down, these guys make wood watches. The face AND the band are made of wood. We have no idea how they do it. Alchemy? Magic? Is this the secret of the Nimh….the secret of the ooze? We might never well know.
And that’s ok. Because…the watches are AMAZING.

Oh…wait…sorry, I thought we were writing a blog post about how much we love quoting Cider House Rules. Anyhoo…did you know that if you say My Cocaine, it sounds like the way Michael Caine ACTUALLY says his name? Try it, we’ll wait…
Pretty neato, right?

Our Very Own (I capitalized for MASSIVE effect) weekly rag, Creative Loafing featured Tunefruit as one of 10 Startups to Watch in the Atlanta scene. You could replace Atlanta with Universe and you’d be more right. Sort of. Ok…maybe we’re becoming big in the Southeast. Jeesh, I don’t know, it’s so hard to figure these things out. Anyway…this article is cool, and details many other awesome new companies, too. But we are the only music licensing behemoth on there!
