Tunefruit Featured License: Sterling Autobody

From our friends at Sterling Autobody comes this really heartwarming video about assisting folks-in-need who need reliable transportation. Sterling partnered with Recycled Rides (a program put together by the NABC) to rehab a vehicle that had previously been in an accident and provide this car to a family.

We are thrilled to be a small part of this video by providing appropriate and thoughtful music.

Tunefruit Daily Freshpicks: Wonderful You

Check it out: Wonderful You

Ah yes, you jazzy cats, it’s time for a little bit o’ swing up in this muther. Speakeasies, hooch, flappers, the whole nine yards, my dear Jelly Roll. If what you need is a royalty free music track that sounds like you just pulled it from a 1920’s radio show, buddy, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Because this is it. Look no further, my dear readers, for I present to you a swingin’, jazzy, toe-tapping good time track. This thing is all up in the Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong. Vintage-sounding with mono-ish recording and vinyl fuzz, it’s the real deal.

Tunefruit Featured License: Dad’s Garage Theatre

One of our favorite new clients is Dad’s Garage Theatre, a non-profit theatre that focuses on absolutely RI-DIC-U-LOUS and hilarious comedic improv. They have a talented stable of improvisors that like to make the funnies in front of audiences several days a week, and, with the advent of the interwebs, they have also extended their funny-ha-ha reach into the stratosphere with Dad’s Garage TV.

And now, with the holidays fast approaching, they have put together the novel idea of custom video cards for Christmas and Chanukah. We think they are freakin’ awesome. Nice work, guys!

Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Christmas is almost here

Hey there. Quick question for you…how long are you planning to wait before you license your royalty free Holiday and Christmas music? I mean, seriously, brah. We see you over there, in your Final Cut Pro editing suite, sweating it out, hoping you can finish your holiday-focused videos and ads in time. We like doing…..no…wait….we FRIGGING love doing music searches…especially HOLIDAY music. I mean…look. I like air and clouds and long walks in the park, and making snow men, and drinking hot cocoa, but my real love is looking for just the right track for our clients. So what are you waiting for? Pick up that red Bat Phone and email us (don’t call, I sound like Gollum). Let us do all the heavy lifting.

And in the meantime, check out this playlist of assorted Christmas Songs.

Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Playa de Caleta

Check it out: Playa de Caleta

I’m going to just go out on a limb here and say this track has ‘beastly’ qualities. I’m using the B word in a super-duper positive sort of way. With elements of Bond, Klezmer (look it up, shiksa), and lounge, this royalty free music track is just all over the place. It’s sparsely populated in a production sense, so the groove has room to breathe. There are trumpets and rhodes pianos trading jabs and such, too. This entire track is built to be spy movie-friendly.

Tunefruit is Going Bananas: iPad vs. Surface Parody

We love when music is the linchpin to a successful video project. Check out this frigging hilarious iPad vs. Surface parody put together by the guys at Cinesaurus. You’ve got the totally adorable and well-known simple children’s music underscoring the iPad’s simplicity while at the other side of the spectrum the Surface is literally throbbing (and wobbling) with Dubstep craziness. Eventually someone loses a hand. Genius. If you’re looking for royalty free music from either side of the aisle, let Tunefruit help out. We love when a plan comes together.

Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Salsa Festival

Check it out: Salsa Festival

In honor of Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), we head down south of the border where we are featuring a decidedly NON-Muertos-inspired telenovela-ready jam. While this  royalty free music track clocks in at a tight 60 seconds, it’s perfect for a TV bumper on a telemundo-ish type show. Or, if you are a fan of the USA show Burn Notice, think of this track as a nice feature in a Salsa club in South Beach. It’s ready to bump, margarita in hand.
