Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Walking In Your Shade

Check it out: Walking In Your Shade

Sultry, sexy, and holy moly, sass-tastic. This royalty free music track, written and performed by Rosabella Gregory recalls the fantastically well-documented female singer-songwriter movement of the mid-90’s, with Tori Amos being an obvious comparison (and likely influence). Rosabella’s music, and this specific song, also take Amos’ rawness but then morphs into moments of Fiona tenderness and Vanessa Carlton pop-sweetness. A solid drum groove holds down the piano and bass interplay,  while the song’s bridge allows the band to morph into a larger, more expressive space, all the time singing, “walking in your shade”. Beautiful.

Tunefruit is Going Bananas: Wistia Likes Tunefruit

Well shucks, guys, we like you, too. Wistia (one of our favorite business video analytics teams…mouthful) gave us a nice shout-out (holla at ya boy) on their blog this week. They know that when it comes to finding the right track, Tunefruit gets the job done. We offer thousands of tracks in a variety of genres, and because the entire catalog is curated (human ears listen to EVERY track before inclusion), there’s no need to sort through crap. Because we don’t have any. 🙂

We suggest you go on over to Wistia at this moment and see what they do. Their blog is super informative, witty, brilliantly edited, and puts other competitors to shame. To shame!!!

Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Magical Madness

Check it out: Magical Madness

This delicate and positive lullaby-like royalty free music track starts off with piano, clarinet, celesta, castanets and ukulele playing an almost hypnotic, yet simple and catchy rhythmic pattern. The atmospherical, yet driving and flowing energy of this introduction transitions later on into a brighter and a bit more energetic and fuller sound, featuring mandolin, acoustic guitars, classical nylon guitars, synth marimba, bells, light orchestral tones, cymbals and some very minimal percussion.

Tunefruit Daily Freshpick: Silverspoon Rebel

Check it out: Silverspoon Rebel

It’s little bits of Jason Mraz, sprinkled with James Taylor’s soaring upper-range sitting on top of a solidly adult-contemporary smooth groove. Don’t let that scare you away, as his way of channeling Bob Dylan to tell an interesting story about his cross-country adventure is nothing short of captivating…and he uses a wah-wah guitar lick to simulate a lady talking. So, that happened, too.

We like this track enough that we just want to sit around and listen to it, forget about all this licensing chatter. Ok…don’t forget about it, but ya know what we’re sayin’.

Check out this video from the artist…different song, still cool:

Tunefruit Daily Freshpicks: Astreas Requiem

Check it Out: Astreas Requiem

This beautiful royalty free orchestral track just came in, fresh off the (music) press. It’s a dark, brooding orchestral track with rich swelling chords. They continuously approach and recede like a constant, sorrowful tide. Simple harp figures outline the chords and violins enter with a warm, haunting melody.

Tunefruit Daily Freshpicks: Trouble At The Bazaar

Check it out: Trouble At The Bazaar

Taking the best of the Bond movies, dashing a little bit of strummed Saz and middle eastern strings, shaking them up, and then dumping them into a busy street scene…this is what you get. This royalty free music track is a perfect replacement for someone needing an Afro Celt Soundsystem vibe. Middle Eastern at it’s core, it still possesses that Hollywood Blockbuster music attitude. Big and brash! Don’t think desert, think city streets!

Tunefruit Knows The Hotness…Blues

It’s raw, visceral, one part Chicago, another part Chitlin circuit. Nothing quite sounds like the blues, ya know? How many UK artists can you name that soaked up the emotion and attitude of the blues, and recorded some of the most important rock albums of all time? Yeah…you’re going to need a few more fingers, champ. It’s a lot. So, to help you in your quest to find just the right bluesy royalty free music track, we’ve compiled this handy dandy little playlist. You’ll find a little bit o’ everything in here…Chicago, jazz-blues, chitlin, country. Have fun listening!

Tunefruit Daily Freshpicks: Workin’ It

Check it out: Workin’ It

Oh yeah…movin’ it, workin’ in, you know how it goes. Sometimes you just need a little sexy in your life. This track punches up the sexy quotient by a factor of 10, with sensual flugelhorn (it’s like a trumpet, but even more manly…) over top a smooth electric bass and real drum groove. You dig Jeff Lorber? Sure you do, silly. If you’re looking for a royalty free music track that keeps your video project deep (real deep) in the pocket, this will do it. Think about it, you’re only one little music license away from getting sexy back.
